What is Panama Empresas?
Panama Empresas is an online tool used by accountants, lawyers, public officials and more to validate and cross‑check information from invoices, checks, contracts and documents, for both legal entities and individuals.
Panama Empresas is a project started in 2017 focused on collecting and indexing public information from Panama. Our mission is to offer transparent access to public data at an affordable price.
The site’s information is valuable to lawyers, bankers, risk‑advisory firms, journalists, researchers, scientists and entrepreneurs.
We combine multiple public sources and offer flexible report downloads, making Panama Empresas a solid source for corporate and registry information in Panama.
Is this legal?
Yes. Panama’s Transparency Law 6 states:
- Article 2: Anyone has the right to request, without justification, public information held by the institutions indicated in the Law.
- Principle of publicity: Information from public administration is public; the State must organize and disseminate it, including on the Internet.

No. Data is only accessible through our web platform.

Why can’t I see some data?
Some data requires a paid access plan to view or download. Plans grant access for a number of days.
Whose data appears on the site?
Data of natural and legal persons of the Republic of Panama registered in the Public Registry of Panama, as well as public rolls published by government bodies.
How often is the information updated?
We strive to update information daily.
Information is regularly extracted from public state platforms. Content is not modified and does not include sensitive or private data. The developers of Panama Empresas are not responsible for the content shown on the platform.
Why does my data appear here?
Because you and/or your company are listed in the Public Registry of Panama or in official public rolls published online by government agencies.
How do I get my information removed from the site?
You must request it via the “Request Deletion / Removal” button available on the company file.
Important: Panama Empresas’s database is used by government entities (tax agencies, police and others). They expect a complete copy of public records; manually deleted records can be considered suspicious. Upon official request, we may disclose deletion date, requester and IP address, and notify competent authorities if required. Panama Empresas assumes no responsibility for any subsequent investigations.
How long until my deletion request is handled?
The request is processed automatically after paying administrative fees.
What happens if I disable cookies?
If you block or don’t accept cookies, certain site services may be disabled or unavailable, and the site’s performance may be affected.
How do I stop my data from appearing in Google and other search engines?
After requesting removal in Panama Empresas, your information may still appear in search engines until they update their indexes. If someone enters from those results, they won’t see the removed information inside our site.
